In today’s marketplace, the internet and social media have become essential tools in the marketing toolkit. By understanding how to effectively utilise these platforms, any business can develop and implement an online marketing strategy that positions their brand for success.
This two, half-day workshop series provides an overview of key online and web 2.0 strategic considerations, and teaches you how to identify opportunities for marketing online. In addition, this workshop will show you how to create powerful content that connects you with your audience, ultimately leading to increased sales and profits.
You can attend both days (please book separately) or join in for only one of the days.
Day 1 - Strategic Blogging, will outline the key strategic areas to consider when planning your blog articles, including:
- Selection of target markets in the online marketplace
- Definition of brand positioning and online/web 2.0 implications
- Outline the reasons why blogging should become part of your marketing mix
- Discuss the anatomy of a blog

Steve Davis

Steve Davis is the Marketing Director at Baker Marketing.
Steve is out of the office more often than not, delivering workshops or consulting directly to business owners and boards about all manner of marketing challenges, including social media marketing.
He has a special interest in emerging media and marketing technologies, with a particular focus on how to properly integrate such channels of communication within a business’ own marketing strategy.
Steve has more than ten years involvement in internet and new media strategy development, and through his hands-on work with clients and entertaining presentation style, he has become the “go to man” for many businesses wanting to top into the ‘social’ marketplace of hundreds of millions of potential customers.
You will hear Steve often on Adelaide’s leading talk radio station, Radio FIVEaa, discussing internet issues and website-related matters. Typically, his segment is on the first Sunday of each month.
