Division and Roads Opening and Closing Act
- Interpreting the plan to determine the 'Division' components and the 'Roads Act' components
- Are the easements being created under the 'Division' component or pursuant to the Roads Act?
- Document requirements and processes involved
This is Session 5 of a 5-part workshop series. You can attend all five or choose individual ones.
Each practical workshop will be a 1-hour session, that will be broken up into two parts:
Part 1 - The Conveyancers role in understanding the plan and identifying the “actions” occurring on the plan.
Part 2 - Transferring those “actions” into the document
It is expected that participants will have a reasonable level of experience in land division.
Sean Frost, Land Titles Office
Sean is a Property Examiner in the LTO, where he has worked for the last 22 years, specialising in land division applications.
He has qualifications in Surveying, Conveyancing and Workplace Training. He is also registered as a licensed Conveyancer.
Dean Watson, Land Titles Office
Dean is currently the longest serving Property Examiner with 14 years in this role. He has worked in the LTO for most of his 36 years in the Public Service.
He has qualifications in Surveying, Conveyancing and Management and is registered as a licensed Conveyancer.
